The bridge re-opened this Friday at approx 10.30 am - 30th July.

Whitby Swing Bridge, which is over 100 years old, was opened in July 1909. The
bridge joins the East and West sides of town and is opened on the hour and half
past the hour (at high tides) to let boats and ships pass.
The image above is a live feed from a webcam situated over Whitby's Swing Bridge. The camera operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and the image refreshes every 3 seconds.
